Last week one of our horses got an injury in the field on the inside of his hock joint. Although it didn't look bad two days after it started leaking yellow thick fluid so I presumed it may have been infected. Got the vet out who gave large anti-biotic injection and 5 day course of equitrim antibiotic. Much of the swelling is now reduced but the front is still noticeably swollen and he is still a bit lame. Any ideas on getting him healed any quicker? Anything considered!
