On Sunday my horse smacked a xc fence hard with his knee. I called the vet on Monday as he had a puncture wound on his knee cap as well as a understandably , big swelling. The vet gave me antibiotic s to inject and danolin . I thought though, he would say cold hose it and keep him moving. But he put a Robert jones bandage on him , so he s in the stable except for picking grass etc The vet is coming back on Thursday.
Obviously it s not worth calling the vet if you re not going to do what they say. But what would you of done ?
