Landing after a large hedge on Sunday, Ink stumbled. He proceeded to do the rest of the course fine (winning i may add!) Then we went around for a second time, fine again.
After i came back, washing him off i noticed his front left knee was larger than the other.
He had 100% not banged it on anything, so i put it down to the stumble.
Its still exactly the same, no heat, no lameness, 3 days later.
Doing a bit of research i think he may have damaged the tendon sheath and it may be leaking synovial fluid, hence the swelling.
Has anyone had experience with this and their horse?
They advise excercise but apparently it can take months to dissapear and im not too keen on jumping him with it?
Help
