Ive recently got a new horse, after having him a few days and not really knowing his legs etc he got 'battered' in the field and after charging about his front leg has come up. There is no heat in it and he isnt lame, i havnt been riding him since. Ive been cold hosing it and putting clay on at night and its slowly but surely going down, still no heat or lameness. It also puffs back up at night in the stable and swelling goes down while he is out at night. Any suggestions on what he could of done? Old injury?
