This is going to be really hard to explain...Flash has always been a bit of a figdet to put a bridle on but over the last couple of weeks has been more and more of a pain, snatching his head and trying to get his tongue over the bit to the point where its really difficult to get the noseband done up because he's messing about so much. I noticed at the weekend that there seems to be some sort of soft fluid like swelling between the bars at the bottom and his lips, and if you touch the sides of his mouth to try to have a look he wiggles his tongue all over the place! Obviously something is not right, but i've never come across this before and it seems to have started while he hasn't been in much work because I've been working. The dentist is due in 2 months (sees him every 6 months) but I don't want to leave things and let it get worse. Any ideas what this could be?! Sorry for the long rambling post, I panic about the slightest change!
