Swollen Mouth

Hi. My daughter’s pony has suddenly developed a contact allergy in the field which is making his mouth and lips swell.
Vet has been out and given an anti inflammatory.
Any ideas what could cause this?

Didn't you ask the vet, and show him/her your grazing to try to identify? Quite possibly buttercups.

No he’s a very laid back vet! He said could be nettles a flower etc. I will be going around the field and finding out what all the weeds are to start an elimination process.
