Came back from a lovely walk yesterday afternoon. About an hour later I noticed my little parsons muzzle had swollen up, both sides. She was still her usual naughty self so didn't panic too much otherwise she would have been straight to the vet. I'm guessing a bite or a sting? I googled antihistamine for dogs but didn't really get a concrete answer so ended up giving her a tiny amount of piriteze. It's pretty much gone down this morning thank goodness. If it happens again, what are the do's and don't of antihistamine for dogs? Thank you.

There are still a few wasps about because the weather is so mild, so a sting is possible. We had one poor Lab who was mobbed by wasps after the gang disturbed a nest in Autumn, the vet told us to give her paracetamol. He said that anti-histamines don't work well in dogs. It is a long time ago, so thinking may have changed. If it happens again, I would ri g the vet for advice, tbh.
