Swollen nasal passages

Also in vets sorry ....Over the last few days Inkys nasal passages seem quite swollen. He isnt having any other problems, no breathing difficulties, no sneezing or itching. I was wondering whether he could be allergic to pollen or something??? The flowers and grass around us have flourised the last few weeks with the rain. He is out 24/7 but the other night he stayed in and in the morning they had gone down so i can only assume its something outside. The only way i can describe it is both sides of his nasal bone seem swollen but not near his nostrils.

Any ideas????

buttercups are the culprits of swollen nasal passages, lips & ulcerated throats when really bad. Not much you can do appart from having the field topped.

The vet was quite happy with me giving my horse a few human hayfever pills. I think I used loratadine, as I didn't want to use piriton (actually I had the former to had as I take them)

do you have lots of buttercups???? piriton is fab if you dooo and they maybeeeeee the cause? Or could be any other pollen....is vet able to do tests, is inky in discomfort?
