It always amazes me that when I do the grand swop over from night time t/o to day time - it takes my 3 about a day to "get" the new routine. When i go from out in day, to out overnight it takes them about a week to adjust.

We are having some awful weather at the moment, coupled with the lack of grass and me trying to keep as much of it for the winter.... the decison to bring in overnight has been made much to early for my likeing but needs must - I cant belive I had mine out until Nov last year !

oh hum..... looks like a long winter ahead

I also managed to keep mine out until bonfire night last year but thinking the same as you that I don't think it will be long before mine come in overnight. They have shelters though and I am putting some hay out at night. Ooh winter is coming!!

I have two in at night out in the day at the moment, far too early, but they are waiting to come in, other two oldies are happy out at the moment, but they have sheets on and both resemble teddybears (already).........Seems like winter has come early....

Havent made the swap yet but the horses definately a lot keener to come in for breakfast so for sake of self preservation as well as horses benefit, think may change over at the weekend. LONG winter ahead!!!
