Its a MW black Symonds GP saddle - bought brand new for £1,050 last November and is in excellent condition. How much do you think I could ask for it?

I was looking for a 2nd hand one of these a year or so ago, they were few and far between. I found 2 (wrong size) and they were £650.

Very good for TB's according to my saddler, something about an M fit being built on a W tree, so will accomodate the typical TB spine.

I have never heard of the make - so if I were looking for a secondhand saddle I would not be prepared to spend much money on it (or possibly even consider it) I'm afraid, that doesn't mean it's not a good saddle but it does mean you might have a limited market and would have to price it accordingly.

I presume you bought it off a saddler that specialises in this make - if so I would try and get them to sell it on your behalf or take it in p/x against another

There is one for sale on link below and I think they are having a laugh at the price asked

Hmmm!!

Guess I'll hold on to it for a while. They are brilliant saddles esp. for TB's with high withers. You hardly ever see them 2ndhand presumably because people like to keep hold of them.
