Symonds saddles?

i had one made a while ago for my old mare, it was made to measure and fitted very well, sadly had to sell it when she retired as it didnt fit my youngster but it was sooooo comfy to ride in, fab for flat and jumping and general hacking, was a very sad sale. got a good price for it though and managed to get a saddle to fit which has proved just a comfy to ride in.

happily recommend, it looked fab when i sold it after a fair few years of useage, however very well looked after during the time i had it :)
 
I have loved both of mine. I had a VSD for my TB which was lovely and I could even jump big hedges in it. I have a Windsor MW 17.5" now which has been used on 5 different horses and, with a bit of reflocking by saddler, has fitted everyone. They wear well too so if you look after them, they are fab.
 
I bought a gp saddle for a nh type TB a few years ago, fitted him nicely. It has since been fitted to two other TB's - one a stick TB, and the other a chunkier flat bred TB, fitted them all
 
I had a custom made one for my daughter and her pony when they were tiny. It was a fabulous saddle. Beautiful leather and craftsmanship. It was expensive, don't recall how much I paid, but it was well worth buying. When I sold it after daughter grew out of it I had a lot of people interested in it and it sold no problem for pretty decent money.
 
cant remember how much i paid new, sorry it was quite a few years ago, my old mare is 30 now and had it for her when she was early teens, sold it around 3 years ago now for around £250-275, which i was pleased with, it was in fab condition though, not sure how much they would fetch now, i sold mine through ebay, they are sometimes available on there, they do fit wide fitting horses well, but as above seems they fit narrow TB types too, it was too long for my youngster as it was a big 17.5" and he's now in a small 17" as he's incredibly short coupled. hope you find one :)
 
They're a smallish workshop, make for Fylde amongst others, so they don't have a type of horse they fit, much of their stuff will have been made to order.
