Synequin - alternative??

Hi All,

My mare is on synequin due to arthritis in her fetlock joint. She has been on it for nearly 2 years now, can anyone advice on a good alternative - I am noticing how expensive it is!

Ideally I want something of the same spec or higher - anyone with any experiences etc??

I used it on a couple of horses without much sucess and yep, it is very expensive. With current horse, I thought, I'd start at the cheapest end of the market and change his management. He's now turned out 24/7 and lightly exercised daily and gets Linseed in his feed. For him, he's doing fine.
Depends how severe the arthritis is, but expensive doesn't always mean its the best for a particular horse.
