Syringe feeding vitamins

hi All, hope someone can help? I was wondering if I could mix pink power and superflex with a little water and use a syringe to get it all in my horses mouth? He is a fussy eater but is really good with having things syringed into his mouth. Do you guys know if this will be ok? should I then do this before or after he has eaten?

Hi ive just started to syringe feed my daughter's mare, she has flax oil and equi dermis. Its not an easy job though the rubber on the plunger gets stuck in the syringe and it quite often goes everywhere. We also had to cut the end of the syringe off so the powder and oil would come out of the end. We tend to syringe before she eats as then she is more co-operative as the feed bucket is in view and keeps her attention.
