I am now itchy and covered in fur, but pleased with my handiwork, might take it up another inch in a week or two on his neck, will then get the two tone effect

will see how sweaty he gets, not left the new rug on as it's too warm so only anti rub vest and short neck lightweight

Found a bloody brill way to get a straight line.

Rub chalk on brooom handle along it's length, gently place handle against horses neck or side straight and level and pull it slightly sideways, it leaves a lovely line to follow, then stand handle upright against horses shoulder and place finger or thumb at height of line on handle, go around other side of horse and mark horse, this gets you the same height both sides, follow around horse and hey presto level line that joins up at back and front.

how would that work with a grey tho? ( sorry just wondering - going to do my first clip this week! )

will lipstick work?

Dont think lipstick would look good on a horse, a gelding might look a bit gay, would need a big tube of it as horses have big lips

can just imagine a large Grey gelding with bright pink lipstick, oooooooo give us a kiss gorgeous
