I am looking at getting a new saddle for my horse not looking to spend a fortune, that's why I am thinking synthetic and I like the look of the leather look 1s. I just want a versatile saddle GP saddle. I think that Thorowgood t8 saddles look nice but would like advice if it is a good saddle by people that have had experience with them?
The website states that it is recommend by veteran society as my horses is 18 this year would like a lighter saddle for her back aswell
 
I have one and its fab and fitted my tb the t8 is a mix of synthetic and leather. It was comfortable to ride in and puts you in a good position. (Yes im biased and if it fitted my new horse I would keep it )
 
Fabulous saddles - I have one for a high withered TB I no longer have (gone to play with the unicorns). Be warned, they're like rocking horse poo, however (certainly the 17" and 17.5", anyway). They take up to 8 weeks to come off the production line.
