I took my QHxTB for a v interesting saddle fitting yesterday. The upshot is that I am looking for a 16.5" dressage saddle in low profile but not cob. The Thorowgood T8 with surface mounted blocks was what was suggested - however, it looks quite slippery. I would prefer the grippier faux suede of the T4, but the low profile doesn't come in the T4. I think that Kent & Masters has a low profile tree, but again the saddle doesn't look very grippy.
Any suggestions for other makes & models that have a flat tree but are not cob? Probably not WOW either...I used to love mine but it was soooooo heavy & kept deflating, even after the bags were changed. I did love the giant block dr & fixed block jump flaps, but never trusted that it was properly inflated.
