Table top tack sale in Surrey

Well there were plenty of sellers and some buyers but just not enough. How do I attract more buyers? I've often heard people complain about the lack of tack sales but when some are organised they don't come. So what's putting people off? I will organise one more and if it is nit more successful I will give up
 
Advertise far and wide. Make it a Facebook event. Use those pull off tab posters so people don't have to write the date down. Call in at local yards. Offer a pay for bbq. I'm south of guildford and would have come but didn't see it advertised. If you can get a rough idea on seller numbers then advertise that nearer the date as I would make a trip for 5 tables or more but wouldn't bother for less.
 
It was all over facebook as a group and an event. We have a web page, it was on h&h tack for sale and riding diary. Shame you didn't see it, we had nine full tables of stuff!
 
What about local marketing? There are lots of tack and feed shops in the area, although it needs alot of leg work! Obviously Rokers and Frosbys, Atlees and you can always pm me an advert and i'll pop it up in my local feed store. Try asking to advertise on riding club websites or ask them to pop it in their newsletter.
