hello,

at my yard, i have decided to raise some money and do tack cleaning. ive got this saddle soap and it says to apply, leave to dry and polish with a dry cloth..... can the polish be general leather polish from a supermarket or will it have to be a special one??!!! i am giving my friend at the yard a free trial to give me her opinion. oh... and are the prices a bit steep .... Bridle (including bit): £3.00
Saddle: £5.00
Both: £7.00

thank you xxxxxxxxx

You dont use a polish, simply a dry cloth to remove the excess soap.

I doubt people will pay more than £2/bridle and £4/saddle or £5 for both

sounds like a good idea, id try it myself if i though anyone would bother having their tack cleaned

i would agree with bossanova it doesn't mean actual polish like shoe polish it just means buff with a soft cloth really. good luck i am personally a cheep skate so wouldn't pay anyone to do anything i could do myself lol

I used to pay a young girl on my yard £15 for my bridle, saddle and girth. She did an absolutely brilliant job on it, so to me it was worth it because I HATE doing it. She also did other things for me too... so I saw it as a way of saying thank you.
