Tack colour

Hi.

I am just about to buy GFS pro event saddle for my horse as his old didnt fit.

I have always had black tack but I am wanting to start showing and almost everyone has brown.

Would I really get marked down for black tack in the show ring?
Which would look better on a grey?

If anyone has a grey in brown tack that they wouldnt mind posting a picture of please feel free!

Never mind the colour, but an event saddle is not the right type of saddle for showing. You would need a fairly straight cut saddle to show off the shoulder. Even the WH people ride in VSD style saddles.
