Any tack experts got the answer to sealing the pigment/color/dye into leather?
I've got a cheaper leather saddle that bleeds terribly onto saddle cloths, tried my usual efforts of cleaning it with warm water until my arms ache and copious quantities of leather oil and once dry it appears sealed but as soon as it gets warm it bleeds again.
I don't buy cheap leather as a rule but this is a rare well made spare and needed at the moment so i need to seal it.
I've been suggested Acrylic Resolene, Buffalo sealant or something from Fielings/Fieblings?
