Tack getting mouldy

I haven't ridden for ages and my saddle has started to go mouldy. I think our tack room has developed a leak in one corner.

Will it be OK if I just clean it periodically or am I going to need to bring it home to store over winter? I've got some Ko-Cho-Line I can use on it.

My tack goes mouldy in the winter, it's stored in a shipping container. I try and clean it regularly, the mould is very superficial.

I use a cotton saddle cover and clean occasionally.

That is a blast from the past KO- Cho- Line I used to use it in the 70's there was not so much chose then it was like putting tomato sauce on your tack.
