Hi All. Recently bought a 7.5 tonner, its old but in good nick. It has no internal or external lockers and I dont want to use space in the living. It is HUGE in the horse part of the box. Currently set out for 2MASSIVE horses forward facing, back and side ramps (not my idea but it works quite well). I have relativley small horses 15.2's, forward facing and there is loads of room on the lorry behind them (I use the side ramp).

So my preference would be external tack lockers that are fixed under the floor - if that makes sense, or alternatively something inside behind the horses that can be fixed and removed if required.

Any ideas????

I'd go for removeable stuff inside behind the 'osses.

This could even be those plastic-type shelves and drawers, for easy-removal to save your back! They could be secured quite well I bet with a handy person with a drill and 'Can-Do' attitude.

For rugs, you could fix up some sort of 'pole across to hang rugs, or if your horses wuld take offence to swaying stuff, some sort of removable shelf would be better.

How exciting! I love planning stuff like this out! (I'm sad, what canI say....??) I'm actually off out to the tack room in a min just to 'potter about' getting stuff ready for tomorrow, which is a clipping day, so need shampoo for tails etc once i'm done....like to make a proper job of it all! And no doubt I'll tidy it up again...and move stuff around...again!

:D
