How do they mark the tack? Do they put your postcode on it? How does it work?

Thanks! (Just bought a new saddle and lurve it so want to protect it!)

They use a leather punch to place your postcode onto the tack which is permanent. On saddles you can use the microchip which is injected under the surface or in the case of cair put somewhere where the air bags arent. The problem is with synthetic tack, but you can use indellible ink pens.
