I have just received this in our local police email. This area relates to rural South Northamptonshire, Daventry, Crick, Buckby, Ravensthorpe etc... Just thought it may be of use to everyone as I wouldnt have thought to notice things like this tbh.
FARMS
On my last update I mentioned the concern with plaiting and marking of horses for possible theft, I have recently visited a farm where horses are kept, on the fence near to the entrance it was noticed that a small area had been covered in paint. this was deliberate and most likely done to mark out this property for potential theft, possibly of livestock or goods.
If you should happen to notice any sort of markings, scratchings, paint almost anything that you cannot explain please call the police as soon as possible.
