Help required please - I'm going to Northumberland in the morning and need to go to a tack shop somewhere.

I have no idea of the geography of where we're going, but it's around the NE65 post code area.

Can anyone suggest a good, well-stocked tack shop I can visit please? Thanks :)

I don't know Morpeth particually well but there is Farmway close by or Horse Resource in Ashington or HorseWorld in just off A1 in Gateshead. What you looking for?

not sure if this is were you are going but i find this is the best place around here and worth the extra drive its about 15min of the a1 south of morpeth

there is hardly anything in farmway atm as they are in the middle of relocating although there is a farmways at alnwick about 20mins north and jobsons saddlers is in alnwick town center and that is a nice shop

greens in morpeth is small with not much mainly feed

Your best bet would be Horse Resource as its literally just off the A1 on the Team Valley/Lamesley turn off roundabout (junction just after the angel north bound first exit - team valley turn off south bound 4th exit off roundabout). It stocks a range of everything including feed. Farmway in Morpeth has limited tack etc but some feed, and the saddlery in Alnwick has a good supply of tack and accessories but no feed - so it depends on what you're after.

NE65 is the Alnwick area. AFS is a good place on the way into the town approaching from the A1 at the south end. It's on the left, on the road so easy to see. There is also Farmway a bit tucked away on an industrial estate.
There is an actual saddlers in the town too, right by the narrow gate entrance.
Have a good trip.
