Last night we had approx 15 saddles and 30+ bridles stolen from eland Lodge in Derbyshire. Tack room door was forced open. We think these may be headed for Derby market on SAturday 14th July. Amonst the stolen items were.... passier double bridle with spenger bits, 5 elevator bridles with spenger bits, 3x mark todd bridles, 2 with fulmers, 1 with a gag with blue mouth piece. Albion dressage saddle, Ideal susannah dressage saddle, farrington gp with large knee blocks and point 2 attachment, barnsby gp with point 2 attachment, 4 stubben bridles with sprenger bits, 2 Jefferies IR bridles with neue scheule bits. most of the saddles taken were not big brand names, only half the saddles were taken - others of higher value left behind. Most bridles gone. Suspected 2 people with possibly small van or 4x4 as footprints and tyre tracks left behind
