Tack stolen in frensham

On 28th December after 10pm and before 8:30am on the 29th 15 saddles where stolen from a small yard in Frensham.

They where a mixture of jumping, eventing, GP's etc.

Please can you let me know of any sales that are going on in the south east

I had only moved to the yard on the day that we where robbed and I am gutted.

My saddle was an O'brien GP in havana with an olive coloured seat. Under the left saddle flap there was quite alot of wear where the girth buckles where (but everyone must get this)

Duckhurst Farm every second Friday of the month

Ashford-- Hobbs and Parker next is 24th Feb

Sure there are more but keep an eye out on ebay for your saddle

I *think* Reading is on the first friday of every month, may be wrong there but they do have a tack sale.

A yard in Frensham that I know of had all of its tack stolen a while back and all of it was recovered by the police, so don't lose hope

When we had tack stolen in south east it ended up in Norfolk (area) and some of it was for sale on Ebay.

They won't turn up at Reading.....too close to home.
Ebay/preloved/adtrader etc are all places to look.
Have you told hampshire horsewatch? They send out a newsletter which will circulate details of your stuff.
Look out for tack sales too.
I hope you get your stuff back. Its gutting to lose things to thieves.

Hope you get your stuff back definately try ebay/preloved and even tack shops that sell 2nd hand stuff just in case they unwittingly have taken on stolen stuff - I believe some stuff last year (culprits caught and charged) ended up in tack shop near slough - !although I have to point out I do not know this for definate if it was infact in tack shop or if they knew it was stolen only that a certain person said she couldn't go near that shop for some reason).
