Bridles and a saddle was stolen from East Carlton, nr Market Harborough, Leicestershire. Seems like they are only after bridles and saddles. I was the only muppett to leave my saddle up there. Gutted! If you live around this area, take your tack home!

Thanks for that. I am on the other side of the county but will certainly take my tack home now -(it needs a good clean anyway!)

They are very active in this area at the moment . Look out for either a white Merc van or a W reg Mondeo, dark red. They ask if there is any livery available or hay and straw for sale but they are checking out the yard.

yes they came and visited Warwickshire last night and kindly stole my brand new saddle and lots more. I had only returned it the day before after giving it a good clean.I advise everyone take their tack home otherwise it wont be at the yard for long. These people are working around the country.

UUUrrrrrggghhhhhhh - so annoyed , worked hard and saved for a new saddle and a few weeks later it gets stolen , not a happy bunny

There's always been tack thefts but not on this scale that I can ever remember. We seem to be overrun with thieves at the moment. Thanks for the warnings, I've got my tack at home now and it's staying there.

Sorry for everyone who has been a victim of theft, it's not nice.
