TACK STOLEN OX18 - PLEASE BE AWARE

The police have warned us today to remove all tack from our tackrooms as there have been a series of thefts from the Bampton area over the weekend, PLEASE take this seriously and look after your belongings. We have seen a green W reg Ford Transit van loitering around, deffo suspicious, so keep your eyes open.

we had our tackroom wiped out on the early hours of sat 31/01/2009 in bampton. 6 saddles 5 bridles and various other tack, no rugs or horses! Although this morning my companion pony was found wandering around the yard so either he had got himself out (something he has never done before) or someone has let him out!!

In total I have personaly lost about £1000 with my stubben bridle and a myler pelham and saddle! this has been a very hard lesson and will teach me to bring everything home in future. police have advised us of other attempted break-ins, in the local areas so be aware! and before anyone asks! yes I am insured but my insurers wont cover as not a recommended paddlock!!!
