My girlies are on a private yard and although its very quiet/safe i wouldnt trust leaving my tack around as the farm is on a public footpath- im looking for something to store my saddle/bridle in securely and without bending or riuning it.

The only things i have found are the tack cabinets which are ruddy expensive and mostly sold out.

What do you all use?

I dont want some huge shed as it will be very noticable to passers by at the moment our feedroom is an old stable with a broken door and to any intruders nothing is particulary worth stealing so i dont want to make it very obvious.

Ideas clever people?

We live at our yard, which is at the end of a private lane and still keep the decent/currently used tack in the house. We have a lock on the tack room door, as does our neighbour, but she had hers stolen at the end of last year

. So it comes in an clutters up the lobby and the kitchen.

We dont live on the farm- yet!

Waiting for the old tennants to move out then we will move in but currently our home is a good 20 miles from the farm so keeping it at home is very hard work.

It's a blooming nuisance even when you live on the yard, trust me! (We had a load of work done on the house last year and one of the bonuses was being able to open the front door! Now with saddles stored in the lobby it is becoming impossible again)
