Tack Theft......Beware!!

Over the night of Thursday 31st January & Friday 1st February a livery yard in Whitacre, just outside Coleshill, Warwickshire, was attacked & various tack including rugs were stolen. I don't have any more information at the moment but just to make people aware that theives are out there!!!

Some farmers near Meriden caught some men in one of their yards and phoned each other and arrived together and searched the van but they found nothing.Got a feeling it was the night before ,I will find out more

Apparantly 4 men were seen hanging about the area in a red van prior to the theft.

The van they searched was a dark red /burgandy van which had dents.Can get the reg,if you need it I think.

If you can get the registration number & let me have it I can pass it on to the yard where the theft took place. Meriden is actually covered by the West Midlands Police & Whitacre is covered by Warwickshire so neither force may be aware of each others incident. At least they will possible be able to link the two offences.
