Tack thefts in South East Kent

I've just been told of two big yards near Canterbury/Dover that have been subject of large tack thefts so everyone in the area please be vigilant and take your tack home if in doubt. Apparently the doors were completely removed in one of the incidents.

thats interesting as a local farmer told us there were travellers sneaking around the farm being nosey a couple of days ago.They were spoken to and made excuses as to being lost.Needless to say they were escorted off.Luckily no one keeps any tack there although as they were caught snooping by one of the local hunters armed with his gun I doubt they would come back again anyway.

I saw in Horse and Hound that a yard in Barham had a very large amount of tack and rugs stolen.....
Also I know another yard in Elham where tack was stolen around the same time (22nd Oct ish)....

Does anyone have any descriptions of the suspected thieves as I will mention it to the guy who found the travellers wandering around our farm.It would be interesting to see if they are the same people as we are only about 5miles from Elham.
