Hi all
What would you recommend as a strong tack trunk for boots, bandages, exercise sheets etc (not rugs) to leave in the tack room at my livery yard?
It would be great if it were easily portable, and could be padlocked.
Any ideas of what I should get (and roughly how much it would cost)?
Thanks.

what about a garden trunk
my friend got one from b&q it has a padlock on & wheels at one end, so great if you need to move it when full
sorry but no idea how much it cost though!

Not cheap but I know someone who has one of these and she thinks it is fab. When she ordered it she was told they are made to a similar spec to the trunks which carry bands equipment around on tours.

ETA. Sorry, just read your post properly and realised you're not necessarily looking to store a saddle and bridle so that's probably more than you want to spend! The B&Q ones are good if you don't need major security (assume AB meant the plastic ones) but they can be split or taken apart under some pressure if someone desperately wanted to get in.

Thanks - but you are right, I want to store everything BUT the saddle and bridle. :p
Any other ideas?

I use a large metal feed bin with padlocks on. Not easy to move, but definitely rodent proof, which is a must if you are storing rugs.
