Tail Bandage, too tight for too long

Lenny has a very odd shaped tail after somebody bandaged it too tight (long before I had him) If i could capture it on camera I would, but his tail bone, near the bottom has a section about 1 1/2 inches long that's half as thick as the rest, kind of like this:

It doesn't have any hair on that bit. He has a lot of white hair around the area, poor chap, somebody must have really screwed up the bandaging. :eek:

I remember a horse losing his tail whilst being transported professionally through them leaving the tail bandage on for the whole time from the UK to Spain. A lot of us donated hair from our own horses tails to make a new tail for him to swish flies away.

That was so sad. It was a real mess and looked so painful. Poor boy.
