How can I stop tail biting?? 2 horse's with eaten tail's, 1 with a beautiful tail. ( Guessing he is the culprit......)

Tea tree oil all over the tail! Tastes disgusting!
Or BABY OIL the tail to death!? - can't imagine it being great to bite!

Not sure on this one but what about a no bite spray? Like NAF'S for cribbing etc?

No idea if it is even safe on horses tails- guess it would be? But double check!
Maybe a puppy NO CHEW spray? Or fly spray with vinegar all over the tail perhaps?

Out of ideas!

I wish you the best of luck!

Oh-- another idea! Bandage the tail? or put a travel guard on it?

I use naf crib stop and it works a treat. I haven't had any unwanted effects from it. It actually make the tail hair really shiny
