Tail Growth

My appy's tail is a typical appy tail, rubbish!!!!
Can i get anything do you think that might help it grow?? its not even hock length yet

or am i being impatient hehe considering he's only 7 and a half months old?!

I think you are being a little impatient, my yearling - who by his breeding is destined to have a full and lovely tail - still has a loobrush tail at 9 months. Yes it is growing, but very slowly.

My yearling still only has a hock length tail.

However I keep my older mares tail in a tail bag to keep it clean, but it has the advantage of stopping it breaking off, and it is really thick and full.
