Tail shaking when bandaged

Has anyone seen this before? The pony's tail shakes a bit whenever its bandaged

I've tried putting it on really loosely and she still does it. She even did it when I put the horse's tail guard on (which is way too big for little ponies). Very confuzzled!!

my horse absolutely hates tail bandages!swishes his tail so violently when you put one on-just desperate to get it off! we put his tail guard on literally as he is bout to load or he gets very stressed bout it

It could be stress I suppose - she's too much of a sweetie to protest when I do anything. She doesnt swish the tail though - its more of a trembling.

My mares tail does this, its usually because she is itchy or ticklish

I just thought she was wierd

I'm going to assume its nothing serious - I as a little alarmed when I noticed it the first time

maybe he just gets a little streesed when you put it on coz he knows he is going some where!
