I'm at Hartpury next week for the one star: I know in the rule book it says navy jacket for your dressage, but when I did Blair one star lots of people wore tails. Does anyone know what the current form is on this? Thanks.

You can wear either. If you have tails wear them, but don't worry if you don't - you are allowed to wear a normal hunting coat at Badminton if neceassary, as Lucinda Green did the first time she won it!
Thanks - I'll dig them out and dust them off as they've been in the wardrobe quite a long time.....
I wore normal blue jacket at Blair, and pretty much everyone else had top hat and tails on.. so ever since i've wanted top hat and tails... but then i also had a double bridle on, which you're now not aloud at 1*, i thought along with tophat/tails... maybe ring BE and ask??
I've just rung BE and it's fine to wear tails. I'd better have a trial run with them on as Hector seems to be overly sharp at the moment!
