Take shoes off a pony?!

i just have a 13.2 pony and hes quite sturdy. at the minute i just have two front shoes on him and i dont really know if he needs them. we do a lot of hacking out in the summer round the fields and a little on roads and we do a fair bit in the arena and will pop a jump course every now and then. i dont if he really needs shoes and itll save me some money! haha

Ask your farrier's advice and if he thinks it's a good idea to try him without then go for it.
