Who's taking advantage of the better weather and turning out for longer? My boys usually go out til 12. Over the weekend I extended it to 1pm, thinking this week I might extend it longer and longer until they are out all day. Just worried it's a bit early and the bad weather will come back with a vengeance!!

Yes ours have been out a lot longer, grass is definitely growing as they aren’t fence walking or despite to come in like they had been! It’s meant to rain here next week so making the most of it!

Glad to hear yours are getting out for longer!! Makes life easier!! No rain forecast here but my boys do like a routine so I don't want to get them out all day only to have to bring them in again when weather changes!

YM is talking about switching us to overnight turnout mid-April if it continues drying out - fingers crossed! I have a real tw@t pony on my hands at the moment that I can't get enough work into to keep him not overexcited because our hacking is all still very muddy and wet!

Our are now going out at 7.30 and not coming in until it starts to get dark. If it stays dry this week, as predicted wewill be able to harrow the fields at the weekend!!!
