Taking horse on holiday with a difference, suggestions from you people pse

Hi,
Have had a really pants start to the year, but one of those things really :)

So, suggestions please from the floor for maybe someone who has spare stable & also floor space/B&B/hotel nearby so Big Fuzzy & I can meet new friends :)

My requirements:
Room to stuff 15.2 porker/good do’er.
Friend to hack out with. Tho we are happy on our own it makes sense when going new places to have a mate to show you routes.
Tho BF is excellent in all kinds traffic, would prefer to be off road.
Not yet taken BF to a beach, so could be interesting but also happy for farm riding or heathland etc – just a change of scenery really :)
Approx 2 hours drive from Heathrow (which is 25 mins from me) to make things easier for transport.
Happy to pay accom for me & horse etc, just don’t want to go on my tod :)

So, have got between 3 - 6 days in June that I can have to myself to take Big Fuzzy away on a hol. Was hoping (still am) to go with a mate but they are in possible a little pickle at present so the plan might not come off.

To sum up: Have any of you got a yearning to put up with a loony geriatric (me!) and a basically sensible (but occasionally v daft-but-controllable-but-fun under saddle!) horse for a night or more & show me your area?

Am I mad to consider it? :o Could even go quite local as a change in the hacking area would be nice :)

I would love to see you and Big Fuzzy but I have no idea where we'll be living then so that isn't helpful at all! Probably not somewhere with my own grazing I don't suppose. Sadly!

TamyToo, great idea but Yorkshire is a little too far for a 2-3 day jaunt really. (not if I was competing tho) am really looking to keep more southern this time :)

I'm not there so can't offer anything but I know there are a few yards in the New Forest that do 'holidays'. Just do a bit of googling :) I did one a few years back and the hacking there is incredible (with pubs along the way too!). It's not far to the beach from there either.
