I took my new horse to kingston maurwood dressage (in an arena) last weekend and its the first time shes been out in years she was very good but was a bit nappy towards the gate.
This weekend I am going to my local riding club dressage which is on grass and therefore not enclosed
which i am slightly worried about as she can be very highly strung.
Would it be advisable/ ok to give her a tiny bit of sedalin before riding to take the edge off her? as obv i'll have no martingale/only a snaffle to hold her if she does play up. She may be completely fine but am a bit wary of the unknown
also she is being shod tomorrow do you think i should get stud holes put in the shoes for the dressage or not worry? As far as i know she hasnt had studs in before (altho she did BSJA years ago so may have done) or just leave her without?
Sorry, that was longer than i thought, glass of wine for you if you finished it
