Today it was -20 where I live and my shavings bed was rock solid and frozen to the ground!

When will it end?

You've beaten me, -12 has been the lowest here so far. Wish this supposed thaw would hurry up and arrive. (Then we will all be moaning about wet fields and mud)!

My postie has just been in and said that the PO yard was -22 this morning! Diesel in my car frozen so I'm having a day at home, now have a flat battery so don't think I'll be going too far. We are on Straw but thats all a bit crispy, easy mucking out though! Horses all wearing two rugs and neck covers indors - cold hole of a shed! And running water troughs are a distant memory!
