Talacre Beach Riding

Hi, Sorry I posted last week asking about riding on the beach and people suggested Talacre. I have looked at tide times but what is the best time to go. I presume not at High tide so how long after high tide is best? Thinking about going on Saturday afternoon. Thanks.

be very careful there, i know someone who got taken out on a ride with a local riding school there and they came across quick sand!!!

Definitely check about the quick sand at Talacre because its known locally for having a area of quick sand that is dangerous for riders. I can't remember where about it is on the beach but will ask at the yard 2moz and let you know. Also check where you plan to park because the main car park (by the caravan parks) that I'm thinking of was covered in massive holes last year when I took my dog. It put me off taking my horse in my trailer last summer! I think one of the ladies on the yard took her daughter the other week so I will quiz her if I see her 2moz!!
