In a dilema. My other half is having a day off tomorrow has has offered to take me and my neddie and a friend out for a hack.

I don't know if I'm over-reacting, but I'm a bit worried about the weather!! It's so windy and I'm worried about the cross winds hitting the sides of the trailer and making it unstable.

It's an Rice trailer, which will have about 900kgs of horses in the back and towed by a LWB Shogun. I'm easily within the weights, but I'm just worried about going down the motorway with a cross wind.

I've never towed much in the winter, and I would just be interested to hear what other people do? Do you go out in bad weather? It's not meant to be as windy tomorrow as it is today.

I wouldnt in the winds we are having today. I have towed in high winds once, I had been at a show and they started whilst we were there. Damn scary and I wouldnt go out if I knew it was going to be windy.

I went out last sat in bad rain, got sucked up by lorries on the motoway, i just took my time, and kept hold of the lorry.

IMO i would leave it if you have a trailer, if the wind is like it is today !

Not sure where in the country you are - and at the moment there are no severe weather warnings in operation for tomorrow for anywhere. But I think you'd have to play it by ear tbh. Get up in the morning and see what it's like - and watch the weather forcast tonight.

I'd give it a miss I think, we had a kitchen delivered today and the driver said they had been blown on two wheels on the motorway. Very scary
