tape measure

I`ve had the tape measure out today.I`ve weighted the pons,checked girth size for my new saddle because it has longer girth straps and we`re on the top hole both sides at present,and measured for a new hood.
But one thing i would like to know is-where is the correct place to measure below the knee for Bone?

just below the knee? mid way down?

I believe its just below the knee... but then I guess what about splints, hmm... will have to try now...Do a search on google?
