Tapeworm- Cat

Is this a tapeworm? (I'll have to add a photo in a minute with my phone)
Yesterday our cat Arlo, who is a big mouser/ proper farm cat was sitting on a chest of drawers and when he jumped off i saw this! At first i poked it It wasn't what I was expecting! I've ordered wormers as they are probably all due and as I say he eats a lot of crap.

I think it is sorry! My old cat had them when she came to live with me first. I used to find what looked like little grains of rice in places where she slept before I cottoned on what they were. I had been using wormer from the supermarket instead of the proper stuff from the vet, which i then treated her with and got rid of them.

Oh ok thank you! I didn’t realise that. I admit to being one of those people who suddenly thinks “cat must need worming soon” but hasn’t really got a plan.

I've bought a Drontal spot on type *I think! He's certainly not one I'd be brave enough to try and force a tablet down!
