Just a little update on Archie and me.
After a visit from Rachel (Tarrsteps), who spent time with us both, she rode Archie, she watched me with Archie, she watched me ride Archie ... Archie and I are going from strength to strength and regaining the lovely bond we seemed to mislay for a few months.
She has been a wonderful shoulder to lean on and stays in touch with me via private messages and is teaching us, so to speak, remotely.
I cannot recommend her highly enough so if anyone is looking for a wonderful instructor and friend she is your person. I know she is highly regarded on here already and is a wealth of knowledge to many.
I was a bit nervous about meeting her because I am just a ploddy mummy who was nervous at just the thought of sitting on Archie but Rachel did not make me feel stupid at all and my confidence came flooding back. I am not saying I am about to tackle a XC course or anything but just enjoying my boy hacking out is all I wanted and seem to be able to achieve presently.
I can never say my nerves won't get the better of me again, its an ongoing battle at times but I know if I encounter a problem, big or small, Tarrsteps is there for me.
Thank you Tarrsteps and thank you to all who recommended her to me.
