Am on the lookout for a tasteful (!) bling browband :D Black, full size would be great ;)

I really like the browbands with the snaffle bits, but I only seem to see them in brass?

Otherwise, tasteful bling please :D

I'm not sure 'tasteful' and 'bling' sit well in the same sentence, do they? ;)

You can have them custom made, apparently:

At least then you only have yourself to blame for any lack of taste or excessive bling.

lol, maybe discrete bling would be better :p

I think red diamonte in a browband to match xc colours would be a tad much though ;)

I like the snaffle theme cos its more than nothing, and less than shouty :) That makes perfect english, not :o blame the cold ;)

hmm, problem is, I don't want to go over to the dark side, but they are just so darn shiny and wantable! :p

I have a jet black mare and she has a Swarovski diamonte browband, she looks really lovely in it :)

It is the single row one!

I already have the Black Crystal Browband earmarked for Mally :D
Henry has always had macho plain hunter bridles, but she is a girly, so he's allowed bling :D
I think the black crystal makes it's sparkly in a far more subtle way.

For dressage, Maggie has a curved Schoekemohle browband with two rows of brown crystals - just a tiny bit bling but very discreet and the shape is very flattering. Highly recommended.

Maggie in hers:

Along with riding lots, I also do ballroom dancing (weird combination I know!) for my comp dresses you can buy small amounts of swarvorski stones to touch them up quite cheaply (a pack of 70ish crystals for £4ish). I've often wondered about gluing some of these onto a plain browband myself to save money on bling... I'd imagine it would work, the stones on my dresses stand up to alot of moving around/heat/cold/ washing etc, but never tried myself! Would be good as can get stones in lots of different sizes/designs/colours so could customise them nicely!

If anyone's interested I get stones from a few places, the following are good:

I'm not mad keen on crystals everywhere but I did see a pearl one on ebay I thought looked rather posh!

Pearl one here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FSS-PEARLS-Sw...t=UK_Horse_Wear_Equipment&hash=item4154eed62f

How about a bit of patent bling on a curved browband(comes in straight and V too): http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FSS-Comfort-P...Horse_Wear_Equipment&var=&hash=item84b71ef887

And the one Red has, Stubben to match his bridle :p http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/STUBBEN-Germa...t=UK_Horse_Wear_Equipment&hash=item414f6ce752
