Sorry for not posting this in veterinary but there are more people here. I have just wormed my horses this afternoon and all three of them spat it out, even the greedy boy. I managed to get them to eat most of it but I was wondering if any of you use a wormer that horses don't mind eating. It's getting a bit silly and it's really hard to give them the correct dose when they're not eating it! What do you all use? I can't remember the name of my brand although it is a bright yellow paste if that helps and they all hate it :( Ideas?

Eat it? Are you not syringing it into their mouths? If you don't like syringing or don't want to use this method, have you tried any of the worming tablets, there are about four available now. There is about a 50/50 mix of horses liking/disliking them.

Well I syringe it into their mouths at the back of their tongue which they then scrape off and spit out. :( I then have to put it back in their feed bowl and hope that they eat it. Do the tablets just go in with their feed?
